UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN OFF AND RUNNING BUT STILL NEEDS COMMUNITY SUPPORT

It was reported at today’s United Way report meeting that the campaign is at $1,890,759, 28.6 percent of the goal. The report meeting was held at Lieutenant’s in Hollywood Connection/Ritz 13 to discuss the progress of the campaign.
“Volunteers are working hard to raise money for the Chattahoochee Valley,” said Scott Ferguson, President and CEO of United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley. “Companies are in the process of kicking off their campaigns, and we expect excellent results.”
United Way staff recognized one campaign cabinet member and one loaned executive for their superior work in the campaign so far. David Steele, CEO of YMCA and chair of the agency division, was selected because the agency division has almost reached 100 percent of goal. Raeann Kraft, communications student at CSU, was recognized as the loaned executive with the best results.
